I'm sure nick doesn't want to spend all his money running this site, so naturally some form of advertising was going to come into play.
If you guys want to bitch about it, maybe you should offer to pay nick more for that advertising space and have no ad in it's place. Or maybe you should considering writing something similar in your own words and sell it for $1. This is a free market, right? Competition is the way forward if you want to dilute the market to the point of unprofitability. just sayin

I agree...everyone is entitled to make a living but man thats expensive....Why pay $32 to learn how shitty the community is when we already know the problems? I understand the rationale but $32? Thats alot of money in todays market. I am having a hard enough time putting gas in my tank and paying for groceries these days...Does it give any answers to anything? Am I missing something here?
